Financial Policies
Financial considerations should not be an obstacle to a beautiful smile. At the time of the initial examination our treatment coordinator will discuss in detail the specific fee of the orthodontic treatment for you or your child. Due to the variety of problems we treat, the cost of orthodontic care varies from patient to patient. Being sensitive to the fact that different people have different needs in fulfilling their financial obligations, we provide the following payment options:
• In-house financing utilizing autodrafts is the most popular payment choice. With this option, an initial payment is due at the start of treatment with the balance paid in monthly payments extended over the treatment time.
• We give a 7% bookkeeping credit for payments in full at the start of treatment by cash or check.
• We offer a 5% bookkeeping credit for payment in full at the start of treatment by Visa, Master Card and/or American Express.
• Third party financing through OFP (Orthodontist Fee Plan) is another financial consideration. With this option you can begin treatment with no down payment and small monthly payments spread out over a longer period of time. We share in the cost of this loan so your finance charge is minimal. OFP is the only third party payment plan customized for orthodontics, and is endorsed by the American Association of Orthodontists.
Insurance
If you have orthodontic insurance coverage, it may help in reducing your out-of-pocket expenses for orthodontic treatment. Most orthodontic insurance benefits have a lifetime maximum amount that is separate from regular dental insurance. Please bring your insurance information with you to your first complimentary visit and we will be happy to verify your coverage for you.
